Say hello to our biggest update yet with tons of additions and bug fixes!
NOTE: Due to prolonged development time, it's been decided that while everything is finished in terms of coding, not everything is finished in terms of sprites. And so, we chose to release this version of the game to
satiate the nearly year long drought between versions while we continue to finish the game's sprites. Thanks for your understanding.
[additions]
-new playable characters: wario, somari, giana, ray, fang, toad and two new guest characters
-new enemies: boomerang bros, fire bros, banana bros, smooth thwomps, wild thwomps, bombshell koopas, galoombas, goombuds, bombs, fire piranha plants, choppers, spikes, burrobots, urchins, sidesteppers and fighterflies
-new gizmos: card readers, banzai bill launchers, special rings, warp boxes, note blocks, goal blocks, pollen flowers, swinging hammers, portable blocks, big item boxes and signposts
-new items: cards, clocks and + clocks
-new multiplayer game mode: race
-tabs have been added to lemon
-drop shadows have been added to the buttons in lemon
-the mini map has been added to lemon (can be toggled on or off)
-added the option to disable small player sprites. If disabled, it will load the big sprites instead
-level themes have been replaced with proper biomes
-new biomes: city, athletic, castle sewer and pipes
-new match options: no items, infinite lives, screen ratchet (smb1 screen scrolling) and item storage (singleplayer only)
-added a console command that unlocks everything
-added a random character button to the roster screen
-changed the background for factory
-added a main menu button that lets you join our discord server (you should join it)
-new heaven tileset
-item boxes can now be set to look like crates
-p switches can now come out of item boxes
-shards and bananas can now come out of monitors
-new title screen palette
-new match options background
-badniks now play the exploding sound as they get stomped or killed
-colors for specifically the player stars on the hud can now be set separately from the boll colors
-characters now have toggle-able voice lines that can be heard in-game
-amy can now perform her spin attack from sonic adventure by pressing the C button
-the mystery mushroom is now unlockable along with its own level
-the enemy bowser turns upon dying can now be changed
-knuckles now crouches down when landing from a glide
-daisy can now crouch jump and has a glide much like peach in smb2
-added a demo for the highly anticipated wario wash by hovering over the boll zero icon and holding a certain key on top
-new music added for certain circumstances
-brand new easter eggs
-new console commands
-the characters' names are now displayed under roster box they were picked in

-semisolid ground is now drawn properly
-clicking certain parts of lemon no longer places tiles in that area
-player star particles will now appear in the right side of the screen in mirror mode
-resprites/reshades for a few enemies, tiles and characters
-boss bowser's walk cycle is no longer played in reverse
-fixed a coloring issue on boss bowser's hammer
-the proper sprite for boss bowser's hammer is now displayed
-the roster screen has been reorganized
-crabmeats no longer require the three pixel gap underneath their sprite
-yoshi now properly swallows spiny eggs
-yoshi now gets out of his holding egg and holding states after taking damage due to graphical issues
-shells and other external sources can now destroy monitors
-flip blocks now bounce upward when hit
-several hitboxes now interact with flip blocks properly
-pow blocks now both bounce upward properly and can be triggered through external means
-objects carried by daisy no longer jitter in the horizontal axis
-the character icon in the discord rich presence no longer disappears after pausing and unpausing the game
-the animation for fireworks now plays properly
-fixed the alignment on the title screen's lens flares
-boss bowser no longer jitters as he falls into lava
-banzai bills no longer explode when coming into contact with semisolid ground
-fixed the bonus and secret bridge sprites being switched
-fixed the sky semisolid lone tile not displaying properly
-fixed a lot of enemies not being able to be killed from below via block bumping
-knuckles now generates dust when skidding along with the rest of the sonic characters
-enemies in multiplayer will no longer play their animations faster than usual
-decorations, springs and monitors will now get de-loaded when they're offscreen, greatly reducing lag in levels that use these elements a lot
-certain characters no longer default to their idle sprite when bouncing off of a green spring with a heaven marker target
-water and lava tiles are now drawn correctly regardless of region change
-mighty no longer causes koopa shells to explode as he lands on them
-the spindash now functions more in line with the classic sonic games
-rings are a little easier to collect after being dropped
-small sonic characters can no longer roll into bricks
